Both of our onsite managers live in the area and pride themselves on ensuring that our gardens and facilities are constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of our local community.
Our trained consultants understand the importance of tradition, and they are available at all times for guidance or to answer any query. We are family-oriented and committed to our local community.
Grounds staff
The grounds team at Albany Creek Memorial Park includes Robert 'Rob' Phillips.. There isn't a job around the park that Rob doesn't like but by far his favourite task is tending the roses – it doesn't matter how long he gets to tend them; for Rob, it isn't enough. And come the spring and summer, you will understand why, because our rose gardens look simply magnificent.
Rob considers it a priority to ensure our gardens are kept to a high standard so families and visitors know we respect their memorial choices and that we are honoured to be entrusted with their loved ones. He benefits from this as well as he has several close and much-missed family members memorialised here. Rob has more than 20 years of general hand and horticultural experience, which shows in the high standards he keeps the grounds in.
Rob loves working at Albany Creek, mixing with members of staff and with visitors to the park. His favourite time of year is late spring – October and November – when all the new growth comes through as the flora readies itself for summer. His favourite parts of the Park are the areas around the Garden Chapel and the office.
Rob also shows great care and professionalism in his role of cremator operator. He always shows a great deal of empathy to families during a witnessing ceremony, something which the family and friends of the deceased are always grateful for.
